Financial management within the context of community led social enterprise often requires managing a complex mix of income streams, including; traded income, grants and donations. There are also often, different project elements with specific costs and related income, which if managed effectively can give clearer insight in to the activity of the organisation as a whole and the differing financial factors.
Specifically developed for those working or volunteering within community led social enterprises, this workshop will provide an overview of the range of approaches, systems and tools to make sound financial decisions and manage income and expenditure effectively with links and information on accessible supplementary resources and tools to support ongoing planning, delivery and development.
This workshop will be delivered virtually over 2 x half day sessions (participants must be able to attend BOTH sessions) which will be fully interactive and draw on participants’ own experiences. Topics covered will include: managing different income streams, identifying and separating out project or specific activity related income and expenditure, making sound financial decisions with informed projections.

This course is fully funded and there is no charge to participants

Session 1: Tuesday 19th March 2024 (1.00 pm to 3.00 pm)
Session 2: Tuesday 26th March 2024 (9.30 am to 12.30 pm)
