In this six-day programme, third-sector staff who are new to leadership and people management will be provided with the opportunity to develop their knowledge of leadership roles and theories and build confidence in their own ability to lead projects and manage staff teams.
The programme focuses on the kinds of leadership required for changing times and a challenging climate. Sessions will develop core leadership skills including self-awareness, how to motivate and empower others and engage in positive conversations. The insights gained during the programme will build confidence to help you step up in your leadership role and make a greater contribution to the effective running of your organisation.
For you if:
- you are new to a management or leadership role
- you aspire to step into management and leadership roles
- you’d like to learn how to lead in an enterprising way to strengthen your organisation

Cost:
Heavily subsidised by the Scottish Government, the learner fee for both programmes will be £160 and if you wish to complete the Glasgow Caledonian University accredited qualification in Leadership there is an additional fee of £120.
Awards
Participants have the opportunity to complete a 10-credit SCQF Level 9 qualification in Leadership, accredited by Glasgow Caledonian University, at an additional cost of £120.
