Sustainability is a key concern for third sector organisations and social enterprises. Numerous challenges face the sector, both within their own structure and how they interact in the wider environment. Sustainability is also about how to expand, scale and develop what organisations are doing.
This programme explores these themes, looking at what is already working, how to sustain this and identifying what needs to change and how to make this happen:
- Review your organisation’s operational and financial sustainability
- Evaluate your assets and their fit with the needs of customers and beneficiaries
- Explore the concept of an Enterprising Mind-set
- Reflect on your organisational structure
- Experience Design Thinking and how this might be applied to building your sustainability
- Explore partnership working as a route to increasing social impact and income generation
